An important part of the Address of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people was the proposal of a program for the material support of the future of young Kazakhstanis.
“Each family should get a real return on the use of the country’s national wealth. Therefore, I consider it extremely important within the framework of the Year of Children announced by me to launch a fundamentally new program “National Fund for Children,” Tokayev said.
“I propose to allocate 50% of the annual investment income of the National Fund to special savings accounts for children until they reach the age of 18, without the right to early withdrawal,” he said.
“Upon reaching the age of majority, the accumulated amounts will be used to purchase housing and receive education. These funds will give the younger generation a real ticket to adulthood,” the Kazakh president expressed confidence.
Tokayev instructed to launch this project from January 1, 2024 after the careful study.
The president of Kazakhstan made an Address to the people of the country on September 1, the main of which experts single out two points. First, he proposed to increase the period of election of the presint to seven years. The second is to allocate part of the investment income to the National Fund of Kazakhstan.
