The tax authorities in Kyrgyzstan have begun issuing hybrid new generation cash registers to entrepreneurs free of charge. 10,000 cash registers will be issued on hand, the Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan said.
The free issuance of cash registers is carried out in order to support entrepreneurs who, for a number of reasons, cannot purchase cash registers on their own, the Tax Service said.
“These hybrid cash registers with a built-in POS-terminal (the function of accepting payment cards for payment) and a cash receipt printer will be issued free of charge for the duration of the subject’s entrepreneurial activity,” the report said.
To receive a cash register machine, a taxpayer must submit an application to the territorial tax authority at the place of economic activity. According to the Tax Service, more than 54 thousand entrepreneurs use cash registers.
