Kazakhstan’s economy grew by just under 3%

The economy of Kazakhstan grew by 2.8% over the 9 months of 2022, Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantirov said.

At the next meeting of the Government of Kazakhstan, he said that in “January-September of this year, the growth rate of the economy of Kazakhstan amounted to 2.8%. Including growth in the real sector amounted to 3.1%, in the service sector – 1.9%.

Among industries, positive growth is demonstrated by agriculture, information and communications, construction, transport and warehousing, manufacturing, trade and mining.

Kazakhstan is an economically developed country in Central Asia. Kazakhstan’s GDP is almost $208 billion. The population is 19 million people.
