Kabar: Inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan amounts to 13.8% – National Bank

The inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan was 13.8%, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the country Nurbek Zhenish told at a press conference.

He said that the growth of inflation is observed not only in Kyrgyzstan, but inflationary processes are intensifying in neighboring states.

“In Russia, inflation is now higher than in our country, in Kazakhstan it was 14.5%. Even in the US, the inflation rate was about 9%, which has not happened in the last 40 years. The reason for the growth of inflation is the growth of world prices for food, fuel, oil, etc.,” he added.
