The volume of industrial production in the EAEU in January-August 2022 compared to the same period last year amounted to $1.056 trillion, Iya Malkina, representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) said.
“Industrial production in the EAEU amounted to $1 trillion 056 billion and increased by 0.8% in January-August of this year compared to the same period last year,” she said.
An increase in industrial production was observed in almost all countries of the union: in Kyrgyzstan – by 18.2%, Armenia – by 9.2%, Kazakhstan – by 2.5%, Russia – by 0.9%. At the same time, a decrease of 6.6% was recorded in Belarus, Malkina said.
She also noted that production increased, in particular in mining and quarrying, as well as in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning.
