Construction of first skyscraper began in Bishkek

The first skyscraper will be built in Kyrgyzstan, commercial director of the construction company Royal Tower Bektur Sadyrov said at a developers’ forum in Bishkek.

The company has passed the highest point of 100 meters and the building will be about 104 meters high. He noted that the Royal Tower has already acquired all the necessary documents and started construction work, the Economist.kg portal quotes him as saying.

“In a week we are already expecting the first large supply of concrete,” Sadyrov said.

The construction company itself previously reported that the skyscraper will be 27 floors high, the construction will use the latest engineering technologies, as well as premium elevators.

Note that according to various criteria, buildings with a height of 100-200 meters are called skyscrapers.
