Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation Rashid Meredov and Chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen Committee for Economic Cooperation, Managing Director of Itochu Corporation Hiroyuki Tsubai held online negotiations, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.
The sides discussed the results of the visit to Japan of the Turkmen delegation led by Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in September this year.
An agreement was reached to add new projects and update the Infrastructure Cooperation Roadmap.
The Turkmen delegation was in Japan from September 25 to October 1. The bilateral meetings also discussed the diversification of financing and the construction of new factories.
