Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan simplify drug registration

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan agreed to simplify the registration of medicines. This decision was made following the meeting of the head of the Ministry of Investments of Uzbekistan, Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev with his Kazakh counterpart Serik Zhumangarin, as well as the heads of relevant departments and industry organizations of the two countries in Tashkent.

The sides also agreed to organize joint production of agricultural products with delivery under forward contracts.

Among other decisions made for the cooperation of the parties included such areas as the automotive industry, electrical engineering, as well as the production of mineral fertilizers.

The meeting participants agreed to prepare project documentation for the infrastructure of the International Center for Industrial Cooperation as soon as possible. At the same time, an intergovernmental agreement will be prepared to regulate its activities.

Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan agreed to establish an international center for trade and economic cooperation in December 2021.
