Uzbek-Turkmen relations of strategic partnership will continue to deepen

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid an official visit to Turkmenistan and held talks with the leadership of this country.

As a result of the negotiations, contracts and agreements were signed between the state bodies of the two countries.

At the final briefing, President Mirziyoyev expressed gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the entire fraternal Turkmen people for the traditionally warm hospitality. UzA reports.

Separately, it is indicated that the founder of warm friendly relations between the countries is the chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

It was emphasized that thanks to the common political will in recent years, it was possible to create a completely new atmosphere of Uzbek-Turkmen relations and give bilateral cooperation a strategic character.

As a result of today’s talks, the Declaration on Deepening Strategic Partnership was signed, which provides for closer cooperation both in the bilateral format and in the international arena.

“Further strengthening of partnership with Turkmenistan is an invariable priority of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy, ” Mirziyoyev said.

During the talks, special attention was paid to the use of wide opportunities and the introduction of effective mechanisms for realizing the great potential of both countries in the interests of the two fraternal peoples.

Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are main supplyers of the natural gas to China and the export of gas is main part of two countries’ prifit.,
