The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China for the first nine months of 2022 grew by 22.5% year-on-year, reaching $23.2 billion, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to China Shakhrat Nuryshev said, Kazinform reported.
According to the ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to China, cooperation in the field of agriculture is in an active phase.
“The volume of trade in agricultural products is steadily growing. More than 1,100 enterprises of Kazakhstan have the right to export their products to China,” he said.
Since 2015, protocols on phytosanitary requirements have been signed to enter the Chinese market for 20 types of agricultural products of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
China is one of the main trade partner of Kazakhstan.
