At the joint joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Southern Europe on the trade and economic cooperation, the Tajik side called on South Korea to significantly increase funding for projects in Tajikistan, to assist in the implementation of priority projects in the fields of industry, energy, transport, healthcare, agriculture, digital economy, labor migration and training of specialists at South Korean universities.
The meeting of the commission was held in Seoul, under the chairmanship of head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Tajikistan Zavka Zavqizoda and Deputy Foreign Minister of South Korea Yoon Soongu.
The parties agreed on the signing in the future of 4 bilateral agreements between the relevant departments of the two countries and agreed to increase the volume of trade and investment.
Also, within the framework of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, a Memorandum was signed between Tajik Fish Corporation LLC and the innovative company NeoEnBiz for processing in the field of fish farming.
