Tajikistan and Belarus sign Agreement worth almost $50 mln

The total amount of contracts signed in Dushanbe between Tajikistan and Belarus amounted to about $46 million. In addition, agreements were secured for another $2 million during online negotiations, BelTA reports.

The agreements between the two countries were signed during a two-day visit of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Tajikistan. Together with him, businessmen and representatives of almost all sectors of the Belarusian economy came to Dushanbe.

According to BelTA, almost all sectors of the Belarusian economy are represented in Tajik capital: engineering, metallurgy, food, woodworking, and light industry.

Representatives of 73 enterprises from Belarus flew to the business forum in Dushanbe, almost 55 of them presented their products at the Made in Belarus exhibition in Dushanbe.
