The state and prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia were discussed between the head of the Committee of the Parliament of Tajikistan on state building and local self-government, Faizali Idizoda, with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan, Walid ibn Abdurrahmon Al-Reshaydon, Khovar news agency reported.
Faizali Idizoda said that cooperation is expanding at the level of the parliaments of both countries, the exchange and coordination of opinions in the legislative process contribute to the development of relations.
“We are satisfied with the level and content of bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia and express our readiness to further strengthen and expand cooperation relations,” the chairman of the committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon said.
He added that an important mechanism for cooperation between the two countries is the joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
Walid ibni Abdurrahmon Al-Reshaidon said that he uses all the possibilities, knowledge and skills to establish cooperation at the highest level and strengthen bilateral relations with Tajikistan in all directions.
