Kazakhstan stops broadcasting Russian TV channels

azakhstan has decided to stop broadcasting Russian TV channels in the country.

15 Russian TV channels will stop broadcasting from October 5new ones will appear instead, according to the FederalPress portal.

“The channels Dom Kino, Pobeda, Channel One of the CIS, NTV MIR, Karusel International, Russia 24 and others will stop broadcasting,” it said.

Broadcasting will be terminated on TV Internet Home services and BeeTV. Instead of these 15 channels, viewers will receive Evrokino, Favorite Cinema, 1HD music and Food Premium HD.

EurAsia Daily said that media reports that other companies will soon stop broadcasting Russian TV channels.

The reasons for this decision are still unknown, FederaPress said.
