Chinese Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui paid an official visit to Ashgabat, where he held talks with the officials of Turkmenistan.
At the meeting with head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, the sides discussed the development of relations in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields. The meeting took place on September 6, 2022, TDH agency reported.
On September 7, Li Hui held talks with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Khadzhiev and discussed issues of expanding cooperation in the field of energy, transport, logistics, culture and education between the two countries.
At a meeting with President Berdimuhamedov, the sides discussed expanding ties in the fuel and energy complex, transport and communications, chemical and textile industries, high technologies and investments.
