Turkmenistan’s success in field of human rights noted at Warsaw Conference

The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting of the Warsaw Conference on the Human Dimension.
The conference was organized under the Polish Chairmanship of the OSCE, Orient reported with reference to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria.

The meeting noted the successes of Turkmenistan in the field of human rights, the implementation of national legislation, the improvement of democratic institutions and the adoption of effective administrative and institutional mechanisms that ensure the guarantees of human and civil rights.

It was noted that Turkmenistan intends to continue reforms in the field of legislation. This will allow more productive interaction with UN structures in order to implement the SDGs, as well as further democratization and ensure the rule of law and gender equality. These changes are reflected in the ongoing National Action Plan for Gender Equality and Human Rights in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025.
