The issues of development of the Turkmen-Saudi investment cooperation were discussed by Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and CEO of the Saudi Development Fund Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, Orient reported.
The talks were held in Ashgabat during the visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to Saudi Arabia to participate in the ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue “Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan said.
Promising investment projects for the development of Turkmenistan in the gas chemical industry, energy, water management and agricultural development were also discussed during the meeting.
The discovery parties discover the presence of hidden opportunities for the development of investment presence in the discovered places.
The Saudi Development Fund is one of the largest sovereign assets. It was established in 1971 for investment on behalf of Saudi Arabia. According to estimates for 2021, its total assets are about 430 billion US dollars.
